Children's Ministries

At New Hope, we believe that kids are ministers, too! Not only do kids serve in ministry, but we minister to each other as we grow in Christ's love!

Through relevant teaching, prayer, scripture memorization, crafts, activities, games and praise and worship that relates to their everyday lives, children come to know the very real God who loves them!

Sunday morning ministries available for your children:

• NURSERY CARE (Birth - 2 years)
  Babies are us! Our nursery staff is dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe environment for your little one.
• PRE-SCHOOL CLASS (3 years - Kindergarten)
  These kids are ready for more! Our teachers prepare videos, crafts, snacks, games, and Bible lessons for your Pre-K aged children.
• KINGDOM KIDS (1st Grade - 6th Grade)
  
  • Introduce Children to the King of Kings - Jesus:
    • Matthew 19:14 "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"
  • Lead Children to Be Kingdom Seekers:
    • Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
  • Empower Children as they Seek to Follow and Serve Christ:
    • Ephesians 6:10-18 "¹⁰ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ¹⁸ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people."

Wednesday evening ministries available for your children:

• KINGDOM KIDS (Grades K-6)
Available during the school year from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm. Activities include a Bible lesson, scripture memorization, crafts, snack and/or games.
• BIBLE BONANZA (Grades K-6)
  Available during the summer from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm. Activities include Bible Trivia games, snack, and wild/wacky themed game nights such as:
  • Flour Bomb Night
  • Hungry Hippo Night
  • Nerf Gun War Night
  • Slip-n-Slide Night
