Recycling Program
Helps the Environment
The paper you recycle today may be the newspaper you read in just a few weeks ... and again in two months ... and again. Recycling saves energy and natural resources, and it preserves landfill space, while creating jobs and providing materials for manufacturers of new products. The Church of New Hope is committed to good stewardship of God's creation, remembering that "all things were created through Jesus and for Jesus" (Colossians 1:16).
Supports Our 2017 Mission Trip
Twice a month Royal Oak Recycling weighs and empties our recycle bin. Depending on how much we recycle, we receive anywhere from $5 to $20 per ton of recycled paper. All of the money we receive goes toward our 2017 mission trip.
